A masterclass introducing the secrets of the stage combat world. Participants will learn about the history of stage battles and the principles of stage combat while maintaining both personal and partner safety. They will also learn how to utilize the audience’s perspective and tap into their willingness to “suspend their disbelief”. During the session, they will practice various techniques of hand-to-hand combat. At the end of the workshop, participants will apply what they have learned by constructing a brief staged combat sequence performed in front of the group.
